OUR North Carolina RADON TESTING
Precision Radon Testing was designed to be North Carolina's go-to solution for all multi-family and large building commercial testing. We specialize in professionally testing apartment buildings, retirement facilities, and all other large buildings for dangerous radon gas in North Carolina. We do not provide radon mitigation so there’s never a conflict of interest with our measurements.
We understand that accuracy is important, and that time may be running short. Let our 10+ years of professional radon experience provide everything you need to satisfy lender requirements in a timely, efficient, and affordable manner.
Radon is an odorless, colorless, and invisible gas. The only way to detect radon gas is to test for it. The EPA estimates that 21,000 + Americans die from radon gas related cancer annually. Nationwide protocol requires that radon gas be under 4.0 pCi/L. Utilizing short-term charcoal-adsorption radon test kits from AirChek or long-term (90+ day) alpha radon test kits from RSSI, Precision Radon Testing uses the best in the industry for accurate radon measurements in North Carolina.
Every project is customized specifically to meet North Carolina's client satisfactions and any potential lender requirements. The most utilized protocol for measurement are:
Protocol for Conducting Measurements of Radon and Radon Decay Products in North Carolina Multifamily Buildings (MAMF 2017 with 1/21 Revisions).
Protocol for Conducting Measurements of Radon and Radon Decay Products in North Carolina Schools and Large Buildings (MALB 2014 with 1/21 Revisions).
Communication with tenants or occupants is imperative to successful radon measurements. Our non-threatening and zero-scare tactic approach helps keep everyone both cooperative and comfortable. All North Carolina inspection testing and reports will be provided by a radon professional who is credentialed and certified by both the American Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists, and the National Radon Proficiency Program (AARST/NRPP). The additional multi-family measurement certificate required to survey apartments and large buildings will also be provided in your report.
